What we collect

For parents browsing hihungry, we collect anonymous, non-personal analytics (page views and clicks on listings) to help restaurants understand interest in their deals. We do not require an account to browse or use the “flag a correction” form, and the correction form only asks for an optional email if you want a reply.

If you use the geolocation “use my location” feature, your coordinates are used only in your browser to find the nearest neighborhood and are never sent to or stored on our servers.

For restaurant owners, we collect the email address and password used to create an account, along with the restaurant and listing information you provide, and billing information processed by our payment provider, Stripe.

How we use it

We use restaurant account data to operate the self-serve dashboard, verify listing ownership, and process subscription billing. We use anonymous analytics in aggregate to show restaurants view/click counts on their own listings.

Sharing

We don’t sell personal data. We share billing information with Stripe, our payment processor, solely to process subscriptions.
